- 3 / 5By Samuel WakefieldFood is great, probably one of the best in Maldon, it's nice inside and good quick service but what i don't like is the fact that they run an offer offering 50% off your food bill if paying cash on eat in and takeaways. Sounds good i know but here's the con, each main dish is about £5 more expensive than any other restaurant. I know this sounds petty but i don't like being lied to. 4 of us went for a meal and the bill was £78 so i assumed the 50% would be deducted when i went to pay only to find that it had already been done. This means our bill for 4 would have been £156. It's just annoying and pointless and sneaky!!March 11, 2017
